Era is offering the unique activity of Surf Safari’s by land and boat to the best local spots for the conditions of the day, for all surfing abilities. Beginner surf lesson are also available and can be booked through era adventures.

Coasteering

Book now for £30 per person

Coasteering is a new developing sport that involves swimming, climbing and jumping along a section of coast line. Set coasteer routes explore caves and gulleys; jump from shear rock faces into deep water; Boulder/traverse along sections of rock and play in the moving water around rocky features.

As experienced Lifeguards and Coasteer instructors we will offer a range of coaster routes to suit the conditions and the client’s ability. These routes have been accurately risk assessed to ensure a balance between exhilaration and safety. Join us to experience the natural beauty of this coastline from a unique prospective.

Kite Surfing

Harness the power of the wind to tow your self over the water, taught by the countries top Kite surfing instructors. This school is completely unique in the way it is customized to all levels from complete beginner to gifted riders who want to set their sights higher and achieve goals beyond their own expectations. Atlantic riders is the ONLY school in the UK to offer strapless board riding and will concentrate on any phase of kite surfing that you require from wave riding to freestyle on your twin tip board.  Will is a firm believer you can do any aspect of kite surfing to any level and that is what the school is dedicated to offer. Whether your a beginner, intermediate or experienced rider, we will endeavour to coach you beyond your expectations. All of our instructors are internationally qualified and trained to era-adventures highest standards.

1 to 1 sessions - £150

1 to 1 is the best way to learn.  Whether you have never flown a kite, want to do unhooked manoeuvres or ride a board without foot straps.  We will tailor the course to your needs.  1 to 1 allows you to go at your own speed, no need to feel held back in group situations or hold others back.  As a beginner you can expect to be in control and safe with the kite and have a taste of the board.

2 to 1 sessions - £250

Learning with a friend is another great way to learn.  Share kit costs and experiences in the early stages and improve quickly by spotting your own mistakes in your partner as you progress.   Whether beginner or advanced we will push you as hard or take you as gently as you want.

2 Day Courses  - £195

An entry level course designed to complete Level 1 and some of level 2 of the IKO standards.  At the end of the course most people are competent and safe with the kites, and have a taste of the board.  It is ambitions to think you will be completely self sufficient but hope this gives you the taste for more.  Most people return for 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 sessions at a later date.

Taster Session - £50 (Half Day) / £90 (Full Day)

If you are unsure of committing to a full kitesurfing course then the taster session is for you! A two – five hour course, using power kites to give you invaluable experience and a good idea of whether Kitesurfing is the sport for you. We take a maximum of 4 people, so it is a great activity if you and your friends are at a lose end.  This course is also a great introduction to the world of buggies and landboards.

Sea Kayaking

Guided sit-on-top kayaking with Cornish coast adventures based at Port Quin. We offer something for all ages and abilities we are a small business that prides ourselves on our local knowledge as all our staff have grown up on this stretch of coast so know it inside out! We are the original operators of sit on top kayak tours in this area and people come back year after year because of our young enthusiastic team with an emphasis on having fun safely.

Classic 3hr Session - £25 per person (incl. wetsuit and all kit)

Meet at the base, issue wetsuits etc, safety brief and location brief, head to launch site normally Port Quin or Port Gaverne, familiarization time in harbour with basic stroke instruction then out to start the adventure taking in caves, coves and sea life.

2hr Family fun / Taster session - £20 per person (incl. wetsuit and all kit)

For families, groups or individuals. Same drill as our classic session but a shorter trip both in distance paddled and time on the water. Runs most days, we head to our location and spend some time on basic skills then explore the sheltered harbour and caves at our chosen spot then plenty of time to relax or play some kayak based games if you are up for it! All under the watchful eye of our instructors.

Powerboat Activity Safari

£200 (Minimum of 4 people)        

Full day trips along the coast involving Coasteering, Scurfing and Surfing going from a selection of protected harbours.

Explore the beautiful woodland trails of Cardinham and Hustyn’s. Groups and Families can be transported to the woods by the era mini-bus or you can meet us at the Woods Cafe. A Kona Mountain Bike and helmet will be provided along with one of our experienced qualified Mountain Bike Instructors. Trails are graded from novice to expert so there is something for everyone on this exhilarating activity, set in some of the most beautiful Cornish woods.

Rock Climbing

£25 (2hr Indoor Climb) / £50 (Half Day) / £90 (Full Day)

At era Adventures we offer an extensive variety of rock climbing courses in Newquay and the South West. If you are new to the sport of rock climbing or are looking for a specialised introduction, climbing multi-pitch climbs or fancy learning rescue techniques then we can tailor your course to suit your rock climbing needs.

Cornwall has some of the best rock climbing and abseiling in Europe, we enjoy both coastal and moorland locations for this exciting sport that is a real test of nerves, skills and agility.
